The pTerex 7-Series Intelligent Services Platform is a high-performance platform designed to support multiple applications running concurrently over wired and wireless networks. The pTerex 7-Series offers seamless mobility across a wide range of network interfaces including 3G cellular, Wi-Fi, satellite, Ethernet and serial.
SERVICES
The pTerex 7-Series pushes intelligence and services out to the edge enabling Net-centric intelligence and Service Oriented Network Architecture (SONA) while reducing and securing network traffic. It enables a range of innovative Net-centric solutions combining IP mobility, security, IPv4/IPv6, video surveillance, and advanced wired and wireless uplink capabilities.
MOBILE NETWORKS
The pTerex 7-Series establishes a mobile, broadband network in motion, helping public safety, transportation, and defense customers extend their corporate resources securely to employees in the field. The pTerex 7-Series offers a scalable network platform, establishing a mobile network for first responder vehicles, armored vehicles, planes, and commercial and freight rail trains.
EMBEDDED OUTDOOR NETWORKS
The pTerex 7-Series can be inserted into outdoor infrastructures to extend IP networks to outdoor locations. For example, the pTerex 7-Series provides a high-performance platform for aggregating peripheral devices onto an IP network, including video surveillance cameras and chemical sensors. The 7-Series platforms are uniquely designed to endure environments subject to extended temperature ranges, altitudes, wet environments, shock, and vibration. |

ON-DEMAND NETWORK CONNECTIVITY
The pTerex 7-Series can be used to provide on-demand network connectivity for homeland security and emergency response applications. In disaster situations, regular network connectivity is often not available because of damaged network infrastructure or lack of network capacity. The pTerex 7-Series provides a flexible form factor with high performance, multiple network interfaces, portability and low power consumption.
