The Need:
Enhance the commander’s capability, in-theater or on the move, to command, control and coordinate across joint and coalition forces, government agencies, NGOs, and first responders by providing secure reach-back access to actual home agency network services (voice, video, data) across multiple backhauls.

The Solution:
The pTerex 7-Series Intelligent Services Platform is a high-performance platform designed to support multiple applications running concurrently over wired and wireless networks. The pTerex 7-Series offers seamless mobility across a wide range of network interfaces including 3G cellular, Wi-Fi, satellite, Ethernet and serial. A Single pTerex X7 provides the deployed Commander, and the entire traveling staff, with secure reach-back access to actual home agency networks services while in-theater or on the move. They have access to the same services as if at their desk through remote access to classified and unclassified LAN enclaves for services such as web, email, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), and voice over ip (VOIP). The pTerex X7 transparently switches between the available WAN connections as necessary based on priority and availability. This not only keeps the Deployed Commander connected but also keeps the established session active as well.
